It comes as a standard with an 85 kW electric motor with a usable battery capacity of 60 kWh, giving it an electric range of up to 160 miles. The eVito Panel Van is characterized by a balanced chassis, giving it passenger car-like driving characteristics and comes with a front-wheel drive. Parking Package with 360° camera – The Parking Package with 360° camera and Active Parking Assist makes it easier for you to find a parking space, as well as to park and unpark. The 3D surround view makes the entire area around the vehicle visible, also from a bird’s eye view and below the windowline.
The eVito can be charged by Direct Current (DC) or Alternating Current (AC) – AC is usually found at homes and workplaces and more cost effective for charging, however, requires longer intervals to fully charge. DC power can rapid-charge an electric vehicle using higher charging powers. For example, the eVito can accept 80 kW of power.
MULTIBEAM LED headlamps with High Beam Assist Plus – Benefit from excellent visibility – whether on motorways, country roads or in city traffic. The adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlamps adapt to the current traffic situation with the help of individually controllable LEDs, and illuminate the road effectively thanks to intelligent light functions.
Sliding doors – The standard twin side-loading doors offer great access to the vehicle. This makes loading and unloading and getting in and out faster and more flexible, for example in cramped traffic situations in the city center.
Rear door options – The diverse options available on the rear doors are tailored to your needs, with the standard rear ‘barn’ style doors with 180 opening or optional tailgate, you can tailor your eVito Panel Van to your everyday needs.

Side wall and roof trim – The standard interior paint finish made of painted hard faster panels on the side walls in the cargo compartment protects the sheet metal skin from damage during loading and unloading. On request, the cargo compartment can also be equipped with a wooden interior cladding up to roof height.
Lighting – The LED light strip in the load compartment is mounted at the top of the rear in such a way that there is as little shadow as possible when the load compartment is illuminated. The LED technology enables low power consumption and impresses with its long durability.

CHARGING AND RANGE

The eVito Panel Van offers impressive range and flexible charging options that allow you to quickly extend its range again. There are also many general advantages in favour of electric mobility: technical progress and financial benefits make electric vehicles increasingly economically attractive.

AC charging 11 kW/DC charging 80 kW

Using the AC charging system, you can charge your Mercedes-Benz with up to 11 kW (3-phase) at wallboxes and a variety of public charging stations. Alternatively, you can charge with the high DC charging power of up to 80 kW at appropriate charging stations and quickly gain new range.

Electric motor 85 kW/battery 60 kWh (usable)

High efficiency for everyday use: this is exactly what the 85 kW (116 hp) electric motor is designed for. The drive gives your vehicle a particularly pleasant smooth running and noticeable pulling power. The combination with the high-voltage battery with a capacity of 60 kWh is particularly suitable for urban environments.

Turn your Mercedes-Benz into a multifunctional all-rounder. The high-voltage battery with a capacity of 60 kWh gives you a balanced payload and extends the range of action beyond the urban environment. This allows you to remain flexible throughout the day – no matter who or what you are transporting.

Pre-entry climate control

Enjoy a pleasant temperature in the interior when you start your journey. Pre-entry climate control also cools or heats the vehicle during the charging process if desired. This ensures air conditioning without loss of range, and you enjoy noticeable comfort on hot or cold days.

Climate control energy-saving mode

Ideal for couriers and delivery services: this mode helps you to optimise the range of your electrically powered van. It detects increased or inefficient heating and cooling requirements – when the doors are opened frequently or the windows are open while driving, for example – and restricts the output of the climate control accordingly.

The eVito features the same spacious load compartment as a Vito Panel Van with a combustion engine, as the batteries are located in the underbody. With a maximum loading capacity of 6.6 m³ and sufficient payload, the eVito Panel Van is sure to meet the requirements of your working day.

Three different drive programs and five recuperation levels assist you in maintaining an efficient driving style. Both functions enable you to optimise your electrical consumption and thus the range of your electrically powered van. With recuperation, energy is recovered when the vehicle is decelerated. For example, the battery charges when going downhill, instead of losing the energy when braking in the form of heat. You can set the strength of recuperation in 5 stages using the steering wheel gearshift paddles: D++ (0 m/s²), D+ (-0.8 m/s²), D (-1.6 m/s²), D- (-2.2 m/s²). Recuperation level "DAUTO" helps you to make the best use of the battery charge. It automatically matches the recuperation level to the driving situation.

The range of your electrically powered van from Mercedes-Benz depends primarily on the vehicle configuration, especially the choice of its top speed. The actual range is furthermore dependent upon the individual driving style, road and traffic conditions, outside temperature, and use of the climate control/heating system and other electrical consumers. The power availability display and the recuperation levels help you to use the battery charge as efficiently as possible and achieve a greater range. You should choose the top speed depending on your driving profile. Is your vehicle mainly to be driven in urban areas or will you largely use motorways? The standard top speed of your electric van is 80 km/h. As an option you can have the top speed increased to 100 km/h or 120 km/h. Bear in mind, however, that higher speeds are generally achieved at the expense of the vehicle range.

A charging cable is included with your electrically powered van from Mercedes-Benz. The cable length is 8m and is capable of single-phase and three-phase charging. Should you have any questions, your authorised Mercedes-Benz Dealer will be happy to assist you.

The battery is included in the purchase price. This means that you will not incur any additional costs for battery rental. The financial risk of exchanging a battery when your battery capacity diminishes drastically is covered by the battery capacity warranty. It is valid for up to 8 years or a total distance of 160,000 km miles from initial registration. A variety of safety and driving assistance systems are available for the eVito Panel Van. For your protection, driver and front passenger airbags, thorax-pelvis sidebags for driver and front passenger, windowbags for driver and front passenger, as well as ATTENTION Assist, cruise control, the reversing camera, Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Intelligent Speed Assist and Active Brake Assist are standard. Additional comfort is provided by the driving assistance package which includes, among other equipment, the Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC or Active Steering Assist.
